Scenario Sharing

Make scenarios public, share with specific accounts, search, and copy shared scenarios.

Overview

Scenario sharing lets you share your scenarios with other KickViz users. You can make scenarios public, share directly with specific accounts, search for public scenarios, and copy shared scenarios to your own account.

Premium Feature: Scenario sharing, search, and receiving shared scenarios require a Premium subscription. Free tier users can create and save scenarios but cannot share or search.

Making a Scenario Public

  1. Go to Manage Scenarios from the navigation bar.
  2. Find the scenario you want to share.
  3. Click Toggle Public. A "Public" badge appears.
  4. Public scenarios appear in search results for other Premium users.

Sharing With a Specific Account

  1. On the scenarios page, find your scenario and click Share.
  2. Enter the email address of the KickViz user you want to share with.
  3. Click Share. The scenario appears in their "Shared with me" list.
  4. The recipient must be a Premium user to receive shared scenarios.

Searching for Scenarios

There are two ways to find public scenarios shared by other users:

From the Website (Manage Scenarios)

  1. Go to Manage Scenarios from the navigation bar.
  2. Click Browse Public Scenarios to open the search modal.
  3. Type a name or keyword to search, or leave it empty to browse all public scenarios.
  4. Results are paginated — use the page buttons at the bottom to navigate.
  5. Click Copy on any result to create a copy in your account.

From the Visualizer

  1. Click Load in the bottom bar.
  2. In the confirmation dialog, click Load from Public (Premium only).
  3. A modal opens with a search bar and paginated list of all public scenarios.
  4. Search by name or browse all, then click Load on any scenario.
  5. The scenario loads into your visualizer as a local copy — it won't affect the original.
  6. To save it permanently, use Save or Save As….
Tip: Loaded/copied scenarios are independent — changes you make don't affect the original. The copy includes all phases, positions, and transition settings.

Shared With Me

Scenarios shared directly with you appear in the Shared with me section on the scenarios page:

  • Click Open to view the scenario in the visualizer (read-only).
  • Click Copy to create an editable copy in your account.
  • Click Dismiss to remove it from your shared list.

Managing Shares

To stop sharing a scenario:

  1. Go to Manage Scenarios.
  2. Find the scenario and click Share to see who it's shared with.
  3. Click Remove next to any account to revoke access.
  4. Toggle Public off to remove it from search results.
